Opt For Outdoors

As life eases back to normal, we look forward to spending time with our families, taking advantage of some of the fun outdoor offerings in and around Carmel. A list of our favorites is long but we will highlight just a few:

  • Coxhall Gardens is truly a hidden gem in our town. 125 acres full of beautiful gardens and tons of fun for the whole family. Make sure to visit the make-believe village, Tiki huts, echo walls, and bell towers!
  • River Road Park offers the perfect setting for nature lovers. Take a leisurely stroll on the paved paths that wind through 62 acres of park on the banks of the White River. Bringing the kids along? Be sure to visit the archeological playground, sandbox, and interpretive building to help them learn about Native American life in the area hundreds of years ago!
  • The Carmel Farmers Market has a reputation that can’t be beat. With numerous vendors offering a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, beverages (and on and on…), your time in the kitchen this season will be a joy.
  • Midtown Carmel is booming! Plan for an evening dining outside at one of the new restaurants, or take a walk on the Monon to enjoy the lovely autumn weather. The sights and sounds of fall will be on full display.

Savoring a midwest autumn is a true joy, and we look forward to every moment!
