Nothing says “fall” quite like a trip to the orchard. But what to do with all those bushels of apples you bring back home? This dessert is sweet and simple…the perfect treat for a crisp autumn evening!
Ingredients:
- 2 Fuji apples
- 3 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 c. caramels, melted
- Chopped pecans
Directions:
Slice apples into 1/2″ pieces. Microwave chips in 30 second increments until melted, then stir in coconut oil until smooth. Dip apple slices in chocolate and place on parchment-lined cookie sheet. Place caramels in microwave safe bowl and microwave on high 45-60 seconds, then drizzle melted caramel over chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve and enjoy!
